My Proposal in Venice
When I was little, I always dreamed of a fairytale love story. My mom raised me to think I was going to marry a successful, romantic, and loving man. As I dated, I realized how difficult finding a good man that you are compatible with actually is. And honestly, all of my closest friends have also been through similar struggles. Finding the total package in a man that will be faithful and loving seemed almost impossible.

Right before I turned 30, I met Craig. I went to high school with him, so I knew of him. We started dating and I knew he was special. His vision for the future, his ambition, and loving nature drew me to him. His life mission is so special, he builds schools and brings educational supplies to kids around the world. He also enjoys traveling and wants a family, which is all in alignment with my future goals. Craig helps me grow and he’s supportive of all of my endeavors. I couldn’t imagine a better person to spend my life with.

Our vlog tells our story, but in summary, Craig added me on Facebook about three years ago. I added him because I remembered him from high school. He messaged me to ask to hang out, at first I said no. I was actually dating someone at the time. I ended up sending him a message after that relationship didn't work out, because I thought I was going to join his gym. That eventually lead into dating and getting to know each other.

It was not an easy journey! I love him to pieces, but we really had to learn about each other and learn how to treat each other. We also had certain obstacles due to being an interracial couple. But I am happy and overjoyed to say, I could not be happier that we fought through everything. Our partnership is beyond anything I could have ever imagined, and I can't wait to see what our future beholds.
