Lobster Bar Sea Grille – Miami
Updated: Sep 11, 2018

I headed over to Miami for a quick weekend getaway with one of my girls. I looked up a few things and decided to try here for Sunday brunch. I can’t tell you how glad I am that we went here! Let me set the tone… It was our last day in Miami, and we didn’t want to leave. We stepped foot in this gorgeous restaurant, there was a DJ playing, and beautiful hostess that led us to our seats. We chose to sit outside and soak up some more heat before leaving. Our waiter was absolutely hilarious, and everything that a waiter should be. He was funny, he knew what tasted good, and he made sure we always had anything we needed.

The restaurant does a three course brunch for $49 including endless drinks, we chose the endless prosecco. Our waiter, David, made sure our glasses were never empty. My friend and I both chose the Mediterranean Octopus with pickled red onions, Santorini capers, and Greek olives. The flavors were amazing; I wish I could fly back to Miami just for that sometimes. We also ordered a dozen oysters, which were nice and fresh (this didn’t come with the three courses by the way). My friend ordered the lobster roll, and I ordered the Florida Cocktail Shrimp & Jumbo Lump Crab Chopped Salad with a lemon basil dressing and a blue cheese wedge. We both loved our entrees! For dessert, David brought out their Tropical Cremeux and Profiteroles. They were nice light options to end our meal.

Sparkle rating: 10 out 10 – Everything about this place is perfect. The only thing that makes me sad is that there is not one in New York!
